How does the AI generate responses?

Zorexa uses OpenAI to read each review and generate a contextually relevant, brand-appropriate response. Here's how the process works — and how to generate your first one.

How to generate a reply

    Go to Reviews in the left sidebar and open any review.

  2. 2

    Click Generate AI Reply.

  3. 3

    Zorexa drafts a response in a few seconds, using your brand voice settings.

  4. 4

    Edit the draft if you want to tweak anything, then click Save or Publish.

Reading the review

When a new review arrives, Zorexa analyses the review content, star rating, and any specific details mentioned (products, services, team members, locations). This context is used to generate a response that addresses the specific review rather than providing a generic reply.

Applying your brand voice

The AI reads your brand voice configuration — tone, vocabulary, response rules, business context — and uses it as a framework for the response. This is what makes AI responses feel like they come from your business rather than a template.

Generating the response

The AI generates a response draft. The response is designed to:

    Acknowledge the specific content of the review (not just the rating).

  2. 2

    Match your configured tone and vocabulary.

  3. 3

    Follow any response rules you've set (always include / never include).

  4. 4

    Be an appropriate length for the review (a brief 5-star mention gets a brief acknowledgement; a detailed review gets a more substantive response).

Review and publish

Depending on your automation settings, the generated response is either published automatically, saved as a draft for your review, or held for manual handling. You can edit any draft response before publishing.

You can regenerate a response if the first draft doesn't quite hit the mark — click "Regenerate" on any draft to get a fresh version.

Is the AI always right?

No AI is perfect. Occasionally a response may not capture a nuance or may need a small edit. We recommend using draft mode when you first set up Zorexa — review a sample of responses to make sure your brand voice is configured correctly, then enable automation once you're confident in the output quality.

The AI never invents factual claims about your business. If it doesn't know a detail, it responds generically rather than guessing.
