Overview
Notification preferences let you control exactly what you're alerted about and how often — from immediate email alerts on a new review to a weekly digest summarizing everything, across categories like reviews, billing, automation, and team activity.
Benefits
Email alerts
Get notified by email for the categories and urgency levels you choose.
In-app notifications
See real-time alerts inside the dashboard as things happen.
Digest options
Choose daily, weekly, or monthly digest summaries instead of (or alongside) immediate alerts.
Why It Matters
Too many notifications leads to important ones getting ignored; too few means you miss something that needed your attention. Configurable categories and digest frequency mean you get exactly the signal you want, whether that's an instant alert on a 1-star review or a calm weekly summary of everything.
How It Works
Pick your categories
Choose which categories matter to you — reviews, billing, automation, team, integrations, security, and more.
Choose channel and frequency
For each category, decide between email, in-app, or both, and whether you want immediate alerts or a digest.
Adjust anytime
Preferences can be changed at any point from Settings, with changes taking effect immediately.
Best Practices
Keep negative-review alerts immediate
A 1-2 star review is usually worth knowing about right away, even if you use digests for everything else.
Use digests for lower-urgency categories
Team activity or routine automation runs are often better as a weekly summary than a stream of individual alerts.
Review your preferences after big changes
If you add team members or connect new locations, revisit notification settings to make sure the right people see the right alerts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Notifications are delivered by email and in-app (inside the Zorexa dashboard) — not as native mobile or browser push notifications.
